Claudius Ptolemy, a famous Hellenistic Greek Scientist and scientific journalist.

Tetrabiblios, his work on Astrology, was the only text commonly available from that era for centuries. As a result, he got a lot of play as an exemplar astrologer, whether he deserved it all or not.

Below you can find a podcast — an mp3 to download to listen to at your own leisure — summarizing his technique that literary figures referred to as the Seven Ages of Man. A predictive technique, it divides life into periods that certain planets rule. When ruling, they color and adjust our reality according to their nature in our natal chart. Enjoy the download.
